The Hobby House started in business in 1972 and has offered fun to our customers ever since.
We sell only NEW inventory bought directly from manufacturers and established manufacturer's distributors. None of our stock is obtained from train shows, R/C swap meets, second hand deals or trades.

NOTICE Do you know someone who would like to live in the beautiful Western North Carolina mountains and own the only large hobby shop in the area? If you do, please tell them that Ted and Pam are 69 years old and would like to retire someday. We started this business 43 years ago and would hate to have to close it and leave our customers without one of the best hobby stores in existence. We own the land, building, and inventory outright and would let it go to the right person for what we have invested in it which is about $800,000.00. Even the lawn mower would be included!! It is a fun, satisfying business, but the buyer would have to be a hobby enthusiast to keep it successful. |
